Requirements/ Age limit


All renters must have a valid drivers license. The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 and the driver must have a valid driver's license. If the driver is between the ages of 21 to 24 only the standard class vehicles can be rented. Please also keep in mind, that an Underage Driver Fee will apply for all drivers under 25 years of age. All renters must be physically present at the start of the rental. We do not allow 3rd parties to pick up vehicles and our staff must physically hand the keys over to the person who will be driving. Drivers must have clean driving records (no major moving violations, DUI convictions, or similar infractions). We cannot rent any vehicles to drivers under the age of 21.




Insurance


All renters must carry some form of insurance to cover damages to the vehicle in the event of an accident. There are two options: The easiest option is if you carry an insurance policy on a personal vehicle that you own or lease. We will verify with your insurer that your policy is active. Customers from any state are required to maintain full-coverage insurance (liability, comprehensive, and collision). We require your Insurance to be in good standing, your carrier will cover damages to our cars. You can also use our insurance which is full coverage for an extra fee. MVR




MVR


We reserve the right to run an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) report on all renters prior to the start of the rental to verify a valid Driver’s License.




Additional Drivers


Additional drivers may be listed on your Rental Agreement at an additional charge. Each additional driver must be present at the time of delivery, must submit a driver’s license in advance, and will be subject to the same age, licensing and driving-record restrictions as the primary renter.




Pick up/Return


All reservations must be confirmed 24hrs before pickup. When returning the vehicle you have a 45min grace period to the time you picked the vehicle up. After that 45min additional charges of $300 up depending on the class rented will occur.




Damage Deposit


All renters must leave a damage deposit in the form of a credit card authorization or cash. If there is any damage found on the vehicle upon return, we reserve the right to use the entirety of your deposit for damages and loss of sales. The amount of this deposit will vary depending on the vehicle being rented and your type of insurance, but typically varies between $1,000 – $10k. This deposit is fully refundable following the completion of the rental. If you choose to use a debit/credit card, the deposit will be run as an “authorization only” (no actual charge).




Cancellation Policy


If you cancel 48hrs before your reservation you may receive a refund of your deposit/purchase. If you cancel any time within 48hrs of your reservation you will not be refunded your deposit. There are no refunds nor credit for no shows. Please understand that there are no exceptions to this cancellation policy.




Payment Methods


Cash, Zelle, Wire Transfer, VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are the preferred methods of payment for rental fees and damage deposits (for Cash, Wire Transfer, and zelle a credit card must still be on file). For zelle, wire transfer and credit card name must match the drivers license. Personal & business checks are not accepted.




Fuel & Tolls


An EZ-Pass / IPASS is included in each vehicle, so you can zip through tolls and focus on driving (and having fun!) without worrying about fumbling for change. However, you will be charged for the tolls you have used (we will check the EZ-pass / IPASS report for the period you rented the car, and will deduct from your card/deposit). Vehicles are delivered to you with a full tank of gas and should be returned full. If vehicles are not returned with the full tank, we will charge the market price for each gallon, plus a $30 fueling fee. When you do gas up, all vehicles must be refueled with Premium grade (93+ octane) gasoline. There is a $350 fee for filling up with a lesser grade. And yes, we’ll know.




Refunds


The only refund that may occur is if a cancellation is made 48hrs before the reservation date and time. There are no other refunds should a mechanical issue occur due to wear and tear (not from reckless driving) during the rental time we will swap the vehicle with another of the same or better caliber. Should there be no other vehicle to swap a credit will be given. Driving area Vehicles rented may not be driven outside the state of Illinois without prior written approval.




Prohibited Uses


Our rental vehicles may not be used: by anyone not licensed to drive or whose Driver’s License has been suspended or restricted by anyone not licensed to drive or whose Driver’s License has been suspended or restricted for any illegal purpose or in-connection with any illegal activity to carry persons or property for hire to push or tow anything to exceed any posted speed limits in any speed test, speed contest, race, rally, speed endurance contest, demonstration, or on or near any racetrack or road course (we’re serious about this — no insurance company on earth will cover the car while on the track, and that means we’re both on the hook for a LOT of money) to teach anyone to drive on any unpaved surface In the event of a violation of these Prohibited Uses, we reserve the right to end your rental, retrieve the vehicle and an additional charge will occur.




Tickets


The renter is responsible for all parking, traffic, speeding or other tickets or violations issued while the vehicle is being rented and must pay for any fees, penalties, towing charges, or impound costs.




Mileage


Daily and weekend rentals include 60 miles free per day for most vehicles, unless stated otherwise. For the Can am Ryker rentals include 95 miles per day. Each additional mile driven will be subject to a charge at the stated mileage rate. Vehicles that are driven more than the allotted rental mileage will be subject to an additional surcharge of up to $3.50 to cover excess wear-and-tear. Mileage packages are also available at checkout to be purchased separately.





 

Policies

An additional fee starting at $250 may be charged in case the lodger leaves the property dirty or damaged.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 72 hours before reservation date get a full refund.
Cancellations within 48 hours before reservation datewill get a 50% refund.
After those dates the value will not be refunded.
